Books
HMML's collection includes a variety of fiction and non-fiction titles which is constantly being developed. We welcome requests from our patrons, so please ask to put the books you are looking for on the request list.

You can view lists of new additions to our collection.

We are also able to acquire books through the InterLibrary Loan system, expanding our selection to the combined collection of libraries all around New Hampshire. Talk to a librarian about requesting a title through ILL.

Book Groups
The library works to get the books on loan through InterLibrary Loan so members do not have to purchase the books.

Periodicals
We subscribe to several magazines and newspapers. Current volumes are for library use only; past volumes are allowed to circulate. Please see the sidebar on the left for a list of titles we currently carry.

Videos and DVDs
Videos and DVDs can be borrowed for a one week period.

Books on tape
We have a collection of about 300 books on tape. These are circulated for two weeks at a time.

Museum Passes
The library maintains passes for free or reduced entry fees to several museums. Please call ahead to reserve the pass for the day you are hoping to go to the museum. Some passes can be picked up ahead of time.
Currier Museum of Art in Manchester
Christa McAuliffe Planetarium in Concord
Strawbery Banke Museum in Portsmouth
The Children's Museum of New Hampshire in Dover

We are sorry, but the library is no longer able to provide passes to attractions in Boston. The expense to the library was too large and limited our ability to provide passes to New Hampshire attractions. Thank you for your understanding.
