This 6 week program runs from the last week of June through the first week of August and serves children from preschool through high school, encouraging them use the summer months to read for pleasure. Once enrolled in the program children log the minutes they read (or are read to) and earn library money to spend on books, treats and trinkets in the S.R.P. Store. Kids also get to participate in games, craft activities, challenges and special events that change from week to week, based on a state-wide theme sponsored by the Children’s Librarians of N.H.
