Preschool Storyhour Designed for children ages 2-6, Miss Tracie’s Storyhour introduces our youngest library patrons to the library’s collection of books and toys as well as each other. After a little ‘warm-up’ time to visit with friends over trains, play dough, puzzles and blocks, the group gathers for songs, finger plays and picture books, followed by a craft project that connects to the theme of the stories read. All three sessions offered each week are the same, so families can choose which one best fits their schedule. Monthly schedules of themes and projects are available at either circulation desk.
